Santosha is a Sanskrit word that means the cultivation of contentment.
It doesn’t mean the pursuit of joyfully skipping through life, it’s about being content with the good, the bad and the ugly in our day-to-day experience. The Santosha Life is about being connected to yourself and feeling good about it.
Not easy to do in a fast-paced, over-stimulated world!
I am dedicated to providing welcoming, and transformational experiences for people with a desire to connect back to themselves. I create a space for you to cultivate your own unique brand of Santosha through yoga classes, breath work, meditation and travel experiences. And, this includes the ability to have a few laughs and to not take yourself so seriously!
I lived on the perfectionist and goal-based treadmill for years. I was really great at it until, well…I wasn’t.
My Type-A drive to achieve more was praised and I excelled in my career, and while this may have looked good on the outside it was causing me to unravel on the inside. The faster I went, the more disconnected I became.
Eventually, I began to find glimmers of peace through the simplicity of yoga, meditation and travelling with like-minded people on wellness retreats all over the world. I saw a new way of moving through the world and it felt right.
After making peace with my ego and bidding farewell to the corporate world in 2014, I made the leap. I knew I could take all of those good qualities that served me for so long and channel them into something that felt more aligned with who I was becoming.
After years of trying many different things (you name it, I tried it!) I would always return to the simplicity of yoga, meditation, breath and wellness travel. From there, The Santosha Life was created.
The Santosha Life is about cultivating contentment. It’s not about being perfect, or even pretending to be. It’s finding simple touchstones through life and not taking yourself and everything so seriously. It’s available to all of us - and it’s what I’ve dedicated my life to doing and I am excited to share it with you.
I wish you luck on your journey, and I hope to meet you soon!
